Appearance[]

Strengths and Weaknesses[]

The Mountain Mountain Fruit makes its user a Mountain Human (山人間 Yama Ningen.) As such, the user gains the same traits as that of a mountain. The most dramatic change the user receives being an increase in height. Much like Devil Fruits like the Gum Gum Fruit, which are constantly active, the user cannot freely alter their size and will remain massive in size unless their powers are nullified or removed. As a result, the user of the Mountain Mountain Fruit becomes an easy target in large scale fights. Likewise, dodging becomes more difficult due to the large height and slower movement as a result of said height. On the plus side however, as the user's height rivals that of fully grown giants, the user's strength and tolerance for damage skyrockets as well, because of the user's larger muscle mass. This allows the user to create tremendous damage with relative ease. In return though, the user's speed decreases, since their giant size acts as a hindrance to their agility.

Another change the user receives upon consuming the fruit is a stone-like exterior. With it, the user becomes heavier than contemporary giants, which influences the limited movement the user would normally suffer from. The stone-like body also acts as a decent natural defense however, as it makes it harder for the user to take damage from enemy attacks. Additionally, the increased weight can be turned into an offensive ploy, in order to mercilessly crush and squish smaller opponents.

A major detail that should be taken into account is that while the Mountain Mountain Fruit gives its user a body similar in composition to stone, it is still a Paramecia Devil Fruit, and as such, lacks the more prized Logia powers of regeneration after taking damage. Hence, users of the Mountain Mountain Fruit are still susceptible to damage, and run the risk of being killed all the same. Aside from its unique weaknesses, the user suffers from the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses too.
