Adrian Garan is captain of the Phantom Moon Pirates, as well member of Revelutionary Army. He used to be Marine Captain, but left after Fisher Tiger's rampage on Mariejois and formed his own group. During time-skip, he married half-mermaid Serande.
Appearance
Adrian is tall man with somewhat slender build. He has pale skin, red eyes and black hair. His outfit is mostly black, and he has two cross amulets on his neck. He carries often empty sheath on his belt, his sword sitting on his shoulder in beast form.
Personality
Adrian is usually friendly person who rather avoids fights than goes to them. If battle is necessary, he often tells crew stand back, even some crew-members tend join battles. When fighting, Adrian is more serious, and not easily distracted.
While Adrian was in marine, he followed "Moral Justice", and still follows it, even he is pirate. To Adrian, Justice is equal to "Freedom".
Adrian hates slavetraders more than anything, and tends lose his patience when coming across them.

Adrian's has special black sword called Harukaze (Jap. Spring Wing) wich has eaten Devil Fruit; Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Hooded Pitohui , giving his sword ability to not only turn to bird, but also coat blade in paralytic poison, potent enough to make those affected by it be paralyzed for while.
