She joined the Marines and quickly rose in rank alongside her fellow Marine, Sengoku.
At some point when Kaido was on the rise as a pirate, Admiral Draconia was dispatched to apprehend him, but a fierce battle ensued injuring both combatants; Draconia lost her left arm in this confrontation as Kaido narrowly escaped the admirals attack.
