The word "Furōto" is Japanese for float. The English name of this fruit is the Floaty-Floaty Fruit.
Appearance
The fruit looks like a cross between a pineapple and a floatation device. All around the body of the fruit are a series of connected black swirl marks that resemble waves. The color of the fruit is a royal orange with light green colored leaves.
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
The main ability granted is to inflate their whole or parts of their body to some extent to float on any liquid. While on a liquid, the user will not suffer any effects such as acidic properties or the intense heat from lava. The user cannot be dragged down into the liquid and will immediately rise to the surface of the liquid when submerged. This is one of the very few Devil Fruits that are not weak to the ocean under normal circumstances. In addition, the user can endure some heavy blows while inflated and can use to blows to escape from the enemy.
Weaknesses
If the body of the user is hit by a sharp object, the user will temporarily lose their ability to float and will suffer from the effects of the liquid including the ocean.
Seastone can still neautralize the user's power when exposed to the material.
The user suffers from the standard weaknesses of Devil Fruit users.
