The Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Lich is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit that allows its user to transform into a Lich at will. It was eaten by Murlock, the Fleet Admiral of the Koschei and King of the Nazgûl Empire.

Etymology[]

  • "Hito" (?) is Japanese for "Human".
  • A Lich is the result of a transformation, as a powerful magician or king striving for eternal life uses spells or rituals to bind his intellect to his Phylactery and thereby achieve a form of immortality and are depicted as being clearly cadaverous, bodies desiccated or completely skeletal.

Strengths and Weaknesses[]

Upon the consumption of the fruit Murlock noted that as soon as digestion set in he acquired a form of pseudo-Immortality as his soul was ejected from his body similar to the Yomi Yomi no Mi, Yet all fatal wounds he acquired up until that point healed in a matter of seconds. Another major strength of this fruit is that it Grants the user the use of "False" Magic.
