Kiiin Kiiin no Mi (lit. Pierce Pierce Fruit) is a Paramecia-class Devil Fruit that allows the user to create speech bubbles that can pierce through their targets to damage their targets physically or mentally. It was eaten by Shade D. Evil.

The Kiiin Kiiin no Mi looks like a long ruby-red miracle fruit with many tiny yellow swirls all over it.

The true nature of the Kiiin Kiiin no M is the ability to sense people's "heart" and to manipulate them to the user's whim. Shade had gained the ability to create speech bubbles into two forms, thoughts and dialogue. "Thought" is a passive ability that allows Shade to read people's thoughts in the form of speech bubbles in shape of clouds above their head. "Dialogue" is an active ability that allows Shade to manifest his own spoken words into a physical form of a speech bubble with his own speech written into it.

Shade has used the devil fruit in a variety of ways but mostly for psychological attacks and gathering information rather than physical combat.

The strength of this fruit

The user suffers from the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.

Inner Devil:

  • Kiiin is the distinct sound of a piercing noise
  • Kiiin is actually used as a sound effect of someone's harsh word really hurting someone's feelings and the manga would comically portray the harsh words as the speech bubbles pierce through the insulted person as the person is in distress.
