Days after the battle at Micro Archipelago, in the New World
Sailing away from the chain of absurdly small islands, where the head of the Phantom Corporation was crushed by a group of two skilled pirate crews, a pirate vessel was seen drawing closer to its next destination. Aboard it, the ship's passengers were lounging about and continuing their own personal activities as they always have been.
Glory: Well, the weather's calmed down, so I guess we should be on the lookout for the next island. GOT THAT, SHINKU?!!
Up in the crow's nest/lookout of the ship, a young mermaid could be seen leaning casually on a powder blue couch that hugged the circular room. She was staring almost aimlessly out at the view surrounding her, as if in a daze. The call that was directed to her shook her out of it, and she soon returned to reality. Picking up (more like fumbling around with) the Den Den Mushi responsible for acting as the lookout's PA, she replied without hesitation.
Shinku: Uh-yes! Yeah, I hear ya loud and clear, Glory! If I see an island, i'll let you guys know!
Glory sighed afterward and ran her hand through her blonde hair.
Glory: Who's bright idea was it to make the clueless mermaid our scout again?
Steering the wheel at the helm, and sitting on a comfortable chair in front of Glory, Karen giggled a little out of amusement.
Karen: Well, she definately adds more personality to our crew, don't you think?
Glory: Yeah, but still...
Near the helm and leaning indifferently on the ship's railing was Spike, who's gaze seemed to be drifting off into the horizon ahead of him.
Spike: I wasn't expecting the New World to be this large. I just wanna get to Raftel and get the One Piece already.
Feeling antsy to get to the next island already, Spike had been keeping himself busy with his dreams of being Pirate King, and so he began staring off into the horizon for quite some time now. Sitting at the bow of The Jolly MK II, near her twin mermaid figureheads, was the captain, who excitedly joined in with Spike's complaint.
Chris: Yeah!! C'mon Raftel!! Show yourself already!!
To Chris' right, and a good number of feet back was Sakura, who was using the sun's light to help her check her sword's reflective properties. She was in the midst of cleaning it in order to keep it well maintained for battle.
Sakura: Considering how long the Grand Line was prior to this journey in the New World, I suspect it'll still take a while to reach Raftel. No use in getting impatient over it.
Spike: Easy for you to say...
Almost as if she came out of nowhere, a more recent figure joined the conversation. She had been closer to The Jolly MK II's stern and the exterior glass dome on its left side that housed the ship's interior garden. Leaning on the wall connected to the ship's lounge, she puffed out a cloud of smoke after inhaling her cigarette.
Lys: In other words, the lady's saying to quit acting like such a big baby.
Sakura quietly kept to herself, though inside, she was disapproving of Lys' testimony.
Sakura: ...
Spike however, got annoyed easily and turned to glare at Lys from a distance.
Glory: Lys, I hate it when you sneak up on us! And how dare you call Spike a baby!
Lys: Leave me alone...
Glory: I HEAR THAT TONE OF VOICE!! DON'T YOU GET AN ATTITUDE WITH ME, YOU!!
Spike: Oh, i'm sorry! I forgot that not all of us antisocial freaks like you!
Lys returned Spike's glare with her own, and much like Zoro and Sanji, the two began to grow irritated with one another.
Karen[sighing]: Great, she hasn't been here long, and already she's picking fights with everyone.
Glory: I SAID TO LEAVE SPIKE ALONE, LYS!!
Lys simply ignored Glory and continued to stare down Spike as he did the same to her.
Lys: ...!
Spike: ...!
Sakura: Who knew that both our first mate and second mate would end up disliking each other so much. Though to be fair, Lys has too much of an attitude about her. Spike's resentment is understandable.
Chris was watching this scene unfold after turning around in his seat, and seemed to be somewhat amused.
Chris[smiling]: But we need a strong person like her to be our second mate! How else will be be able to get the One Piece unless we have a strong crew?
Glory[irritated]: Doesn't give her the right to pick fights with Spike though.
Lys[annoyed]: What's with that stare, baka? You wanna go?
Spike[annoyed]: No, I just wanna shove that cigarette straight down your throat.
A few more seconds of staring later, and one or two eye twitches after that, and the two then lunged at each other and began fighting like cats and dogs. Punches and kicks connected with one another as they both swiftly manuevered around each other. Watching from above, Shinku tried to calm them down.
Shinku[over the PA]: Oi, oi!! You guys! Take it easy! You don't need to fight it out like this!
Spike and Lys only paused in their fighting to tell Shinku off.
Spike and Lys: Back off!!
Immediately after that, they went straight back at fighting one another. Shinku merely curled herself up in a ball on the floor and drew aimless lines on the carpet out of having her feelings hurt.
Shinku: I was only trying to help...
Karen[sweatdrop forms on her head]: Something tells me they're not going to like each other...
As the two continued to bicker, the ship drew closer to its destination. Time passed, and The Jolly Pirates arrived at a civilized island, with a town nearby that was surrounded by thick jungles. Departing from their trusted ship, the crew began to decide what they'd do next. Chris, naturally, delighted in the idea of reaching a jungle island, as there were probably countless oddities for him to marvel at and play with. Albeit the others seemed more interested in the town rather than the jungle.
Glory: Well, may as well get some news as to how long it takes to reach the next island. Anyone wanna come with me?
Immediately after saying that, Glory cupped her hands together and leaned over towards Spike, with large, sparkling stars in her eyes, signifying her hopefulness.
Glory[smiling]: Maybe you, Spike?!
As clueless as always, Spike reacted in complete confusion as to what Glory was implying.
Spike: Eh? ...Oh, i'm good, Glory. Thanks anyway.
Glory's head drooped in dissapointment soon afterward.
Glory: I see...
Aphro[Male Form]: If you want company, i'll be more than glad to accompany you, Ms. Glory!
It was one thing to be turned down by the one person she loved the most, but to have the resident pervert suggest going with her instead? Glory merely looked back at Aphro as if she was physically ill, with her face nearly going blue.
Glory[flatly]: I'm fine, Aphro. There's no need for that.
Aphro placed one hand on his hip and another on his head as he responded.
Aphro: Oh well, it's for the best I assume. I'd like to see what kind of medicine and pharmacueticals they have here as well. So I guess our date will have to be postponed, i'm afraid.
Hanuman: Speaking of, Hanuman need to make sure crew's food storage is OK. So Hanuman going to be checking town's shops for more food.
Lys: Good, if you're all going into town, then that means I can stay here and finally have some peace and quiet. Later.
Without waiting for a response, Lys walked straight back to the ship and hopped back on. It didn't take long for her to eventually phase through the deck, using her Phase Phase Fruit powers, and dissapear within the interior of The Jolly MK II.
Wyatt[sarcastic]: Yeah, it was a real pleasure, Lys.
Timber: Well, with Ms. Personality staying behind, I guess I should stick around here for a while longer and make sure she doesn't do anything ultra stupid to Jolly while everyone's away.
Eventually, everyone started voicing what they'd be doing for the day.
Mary: I'm staying to work on some inventions I haven't quite finished yet.
Lawrence[Hybrid Form]: I don't feel like checking out some normal-looking island, so i'll be in the garden.
Sakura: I'll be doing some meditating, and then some practice in the sparring room.
Wyatt: I've got nothing better to do, so I guess i'll help Hanuman with the shopping.
Shinku: Same here, so i'll go with Glory.
Karen: Me too. I'll be going with Aphro.
Aphro[dissapointed]: Why can't it be Ms. Rune...?
Rex: Zzzz...
Before anyone else could continue, Mary turned to Chris, Spike, Rune, and Bach, and inquired what they'd be doing.
Mary: What about you four? Anything special in mind?
Bach: Let's see here...
Rune: We could be chasing after Chris.
Spike: "Chasing after Chris"? What are you talking abou-?
Before Spike could finish his question, Rune had already non-chalantly pointed her index finger at a sprinting Chris, who was running off towards the jungle.
Spike: WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING SOONER?!!
Rune[sweatdrop forms on her head as she nervously smiles]: Um, i'm sorry. He's a fast runner.
Bach: Gah! Now it looks we have something to do after all! Let's go, you guys. He hasn't gotten far!
Spike and Rune nodded in agreement, and soon the three of them pursued after Chris, who was already within the first few feet of the nearby jungle.
Glory: I'm beginning to wonder if this whole crew, except Spike of course, is full of baka.
Jolly Pirates except Sakura, Rex, Aphro and Glory: OI!!!
Sakura: ...
Aphro[lovingly]: Ms. Glory's so insightful!
Wyatt: At least she was right about you...
Back, Spike and Rune continued to chase Chris who was ahead of them. Chris suddenly stops, letting the others reach him.
Spike:*pissed off face fault*WHY YOU DIDNT WAIT FOR US EARLIER?!?!
Chris totally ignores Spike and points at a huge mountain that was in front of them at some distance.
Chris:*silly face*I bet I can reach that mountain first!!
Rune:*pissed off face fault*WE DIDNT FOLLOW YOU FOR THAT!!
Chris ignores Rune as well and starts running towards the mountain as fast as he can.
Rune:*sweatdrops*I am glad he listened to me...
Rune notices Spike that also started running after Chris as fast as he could.
Spike:YOU ARE NEVER GOING TO GET THERE BEFORE ME!!
Rune:*pissed off face fault*NOT YOU TOO!!
Rune and Bach start following Chris and Spike, but after some time they get tired and stop for a second. They start looking around them to try and understand where they are, but they only get lost.
Bach:*sweatdrops*Great...
Meanwhile, Chris and Spike are about to reach the mountain, but right before they would do so, they notice two persons that were about to pick a fight.
Chris:*loud voice*Hey, who are those?!?!
Spike:*comically punching Chris*Be quiet!!
Person 1: I dont have any intention to fight you...
Person 2: I KNEW THIS IS GOING TO BE A WASTE OF TIME!!
Spike: It seems they are not going to fight after all...do you think we might be able to make them fight together against us?
Chris: Eh?But I though we didnt come on this island to fight.
Spike suddenly freezes in place, after realizing who are the persons in front of him.
Spike:*surprised*Those are...Sasagawa Kenshin...a pirate worth 420, 000, 000 beri...and Takeo Hiroki, a man worth 530, 000, 000 beri!!
Chris:*silly face*Oh, those are pretty big bounties, but I never heard about them before.
Chris turns around and prepares to leave, but he notices that Spike jumped towards Kenshin and Hiroki.
Chris:*surprised*Eh?
Spike:*smiles*HEY, YOU!!
Kenshin and Hiroki turn their attention towards Spike.
Kenshin:*serious face*Who are you?
Spike:*smiles*Just someone who is very excited to see strong guys like you on this island.
Hiroki:*maniac smile*I didnt eat anything today...so I guess you can become my meal if you want.
Spike:*smiles*BRING IT ON!!
Without any other words, Hiroki and Spike clash.
Kenshin:*sweatdrops*They are sure picking fights very easily.
Chris starts walking towards Kenshin.
Chris:*smiles*Yeah, Spike sure likes to fight!Let me present my...
Kenshin:*smiles*I know who you are.
Chris:*silly face*Too bad I dont know who you are.
Kenshin:*smiles*The captain of the Jolly Pirates...
Kenshin picks one of his swords and draws it out.
Kenshin:*smiles*But your title as the captain of a strong crew and your bounty is enough to make me want to fight you.
Chris:*laughs*I am sorry, but I am not the same as Spike. I wont pick a fight if I have no reason to fight at all!
Kenshin:*smiles*You didnt let me finish what I wanted to say...you think you can fight me alone?
Chris' attitude suddenly changes a bit.
Chris:*smiles*What do you want to say?
Kenshin:*smiles*Please...bring the weaklings you call crew to fight me.
Chris:*shadowed eyes*How...you just called my crew?
Kenshin:*smiles*I am pretty sure you heard me right.
Chris:*serious face*If you wanted to give me reason to fight you...then congratulations...you got one.
Kenshin:*smiles*Great...
- All of a sudden, Chris appears in front of Kenshin and tries to punch him
- Kenshin ducks and avoids the attack, then tries to quickly slash Chris' right arm with his sword, but the sword simply passes through Chris arm
Kenshin:*serious face*Huh?A...Logia?
Chris:*serious smile*Damn right!
- Chris quickly swings his leg down, kicking Kenshin in his head and making him hit the ground with his face
- Without losing a moment, Kenshin gets back on his feet as Chris takes a step back from him
Chris:*serious smile*I am truly wondering if you posses Haki now...
Kenshin:*smiles*Who knows...
- Chris' right hand transforms in a liquid form of clay and he points it towards Kenshin
- In a moment, Kenshin is in front of Chirs and powerfully grabs his right hand
- Chris starts to feel his entire body weak and notices he cant control his Devil Fruit powers
Kenshin:*smiles*Does this answer your question from earlier?
Chris:*smiles*Pretty much.
- Chris jumps and tries to kick Kenshin with both his legs in the stomach, but Kenshin disappears
- He then notices Kenshin behind him, with 2 swords drawn out and pointed towards him
Kenshin:*smiles*Demon's Horns!!
- Kenshin tries to stab Chris with both his swords in the same spot, but Chris' back gets covered in clay
Chris:*serious face*Clay Clay Shield!!
- Chris creates a shield of solid clay on his back that blocks Kenshin's attack
Chris:*smiles*Dont think that you can pass my defense so ea...
- Chris suddenly notices that Kenshin's attack broke through his clay shield and he got stabbed in the back
Kenshin:*arrogant smile*Were you about to say something?
Chris:*smiles*Nah...nothing...
- Chris transforms his entire body in clay and reforms it after he is at a safe distance from Kenshin
- Kenshin draws out all his 8 swords and takes his usual Hachitoryu stance
Kenshin:*serious face*Please dont dare to understimate me...
Chris:*smiles*I wasnt planning on doing that...
- Chris covers his hands in clay and dashes towards Kenshin
- He starts punching in all directions, making some liquid clay fall on Kenshin's body
- Kenshin starts slashing Chris a lot of ideas, but Chris transforms his entire body in clay before Kenshin's attacks, which are embued with Haki, would touch him
Chris:*serious face*Clay Clay Armory!!
- Chris transforms both his arms into swords and tries to slash Kenshin
- Kenshin simple cuts the swords using his own
Kenshin:*smiles*You actually though that will work?
Chris:*smiles*It atually worked.
- Kenshin notices that his swords got covered in clay
Kenshin:*smiles*Hmph...
- Chris then jumps back and points both his hands at Kenshin, covering them in a huge amount of clay
Chris:*smiles*Clay Clay Fist!!
- Chris creates a fist of clay that is 5 times the size of his hands and shots it towards Kenshin
- Kenshin puts all his swords together, and prepares to slash the giant fist in half, but suddenly the fist opens up and half and takes a liquid form, then surrounds Kenshin, creating small waves of clay around him
Kenshin:*surprised*Eh?What is this supposed to be?
Chris:*smiles*This is my...Clay Clay Vortex!!
- The waves of clay become bigger and bigger until they completely surround Kenshin's body, catching him in the middle of a spinning clay tower
Kenshin:*surprised*What is...
- The tower suddenly stops spinning and becomes solid, turning into a statue everything caught in it
Chris:*silly face*And I guess this is it!!But...I think I should set that guy free after all...I cant let him die there!
- A dragon spirit appears out of nowhere and starts flying around the tower of clay
Chris:*surprised*What...is that?
- Suddenly, the tower of clay gets destroyed from the inside by a powerful tornado wind
- Kenshin appears from inside of it, in a special stance
Kenshin:*shadowed eyes*Demon's Two Eyed Dragon!!
Chris:*surprised*But...but how did you?
Kenshin:*nose pick*I didnt though I am going to ever use this weak technique again.
Chris:*shocked*Weak...technique?But that technique just...
Kenshin:*smiles*Say...are you going to get really serious this time?Or I have to play around more with you?
Chris:*smiles*I guess I will...Clay Clay Trap!!
- Kenshin's entire body starts getting covered in a liquid clay, this starting from the clay he got on his swords and body earlier
Chris:*smiles*You though my attacks from earlier were really useless?
Kenshin:*smiles*Of course now...but I couldnt find a prupose for them...until now...
Chris:*smiles*You will a very nice statue...Kenshin!!
- In just a few seconds, Kenshin's entire body gets covered in a clay, transforming him into a statue
Chris: Now...lets see what is Spike...
- Chris suddenly notices the statue is crumbling
Chris:*surprised*Eh?
- The statue breaks into pieces, but Kenshin emerges from it unharmed
Kenshin:*smiles*Enerugi Enerugi:Energy Field!!
Chris:*surprised*Energy?
Kenshin:*smiles*I have a Devil Fruit as well...and that is the Enerugi Enerugi no Mi!!What you saw right now, is a technique in which I release the energy I produce outside of my body, destroying pretty much everything that comes in contact with me.
Chris:*serious face*I see...not bad at all...
- Kenshin slowly sheats all his swords
Chris:*surprised*Huh?What are you doing?
Kenshin:*serious face*I am going to change this battle.
Chris:*serious face*What are you...
- Kenshin takes a simple step forward, while his swords are not completely sheated
- After a second, he appears behind Chris with his swords sheated
Kenshin:*demonic look*Demon's Song!!
- Chris gets 8 big cuts on his chest and stomach and falls on his knees
Chris:*shocked*When...what...
Kenshin:*demonic smile*Too many questions that you want to ask, unfortunately, I am not going to answer any of them, you gotta find the answers by yourself.
- Chris checks his wounds and tries to stop the bleeding, then gets back on his feet and looks straight into Kenshin's eyes
- His body then starts trembling, after seeing an image of Hell
Chris:*dead serious face*You know...I am not scared of you.
Kenshin:*demonic smile*Good...
The scene changes to the place where Spike and Hiroki were fighting.
Both of them are having a few scratches and are seen panting.
Hiroki:*panting*I didnt though you are this strong when I first saw you...I really want to taste your flesh now!!
Spike:*panting*Just try it!!And...I guess I have to use my Devil Fruit against you after all...or I might not win this battle.
- Spike uses his Devil Fruit and his body starts to change, transforming into a Kentrosaurus
Hiroki:*maniac smile*Hehe...what an impressive animal...
Spike:*smiles*I wont be so happy in your place.
- Spike jumps in the air, then tries to land on Hiroki to crush him with his massive body
Spike:*smiles*Fossil Fissure!!
- Without hesitating a single moment, Hiroki jumps towards Spike
Spike:*serious face*[Huh?What is wrong with him?He will get more damage that way.]
- Hiroki touches Spike's body with his right palm, then steps on him and uses Soru to appear at a safe distance from Spike
- Spike lands on the ground and creates a big crater, then gets into a hybrid form and turns towards Hiroki
Spike:*serious face*What was that for?
Hiroki:*maniac grin*Just wait and see...

- Hiroki's bone structure suddenly starts to change, making his body look very similar to how Spike's body looked when he was in his full Kentrosaurus form
Spike:*shocked*You...must...be kidding me...
Hiroki:*maniac grin*This is the power of the Gisu Gisu no Mi!!(Mimic Mimic Fruit)
- Hiroki starts spinning his tail around, then he suddenly stops and swings it towards Spike, releasing a Ryankyaku is 10 times the size of Spike's body
Hiroki:*maniac grin*Rankyaku:Shippo Giri!!(Storm Leg:Tail Slash)
- Spike transforms in his full Kentrosaurus form and takes a defensive stance, waiting for the incoming attack
Spike: When all else fails...
As quickly as he could, Spike rolled himself into a ball, showing only his plates and spikes, and began to roll straight into Hiroki's attack.
Spike: MIGHTY SAW!!
As Spike made contact with the air slash, his plates and spikes began to grind against the blade, creating a power struggle between both techniques. Almost as if they had stopped in place, both Spike and the air slash trie to push the other away. Eventually, both gave in, and Spike cut through the center of the air slash; but not without having both sides of his body sliced by the passing slash, making him spew blood from both sides of his body. Undeterred from the damage he took though, Spike kept charging his rolled up form towards Hiroki, who jumped towards Spike to meet the attack head on.
Hiroki: You think i'm gonna sit back and let that thing hit me?!!
As Spike began to pass underneath Hiroki, Hiroki swung his tail as hard as he could at Spike's rolled up body, which collided with the spinning dinosaur-man. Having already been slowed down by Hiroki's previous technique, Spike no longer had enough momentum to push Hiroki backward, and instead felt himself being flung back. Much as if Spike was a baseball, and Hiroki's tail was the bat, Hiroki swung and hit the "ball," causing it to fly away. As Hiroki landed, Spike continued to spin a little in mid-air.
Spike[thinking]: Damn it...! I've never fought someone like this guy before! ...Guess that's why my blood's beginning to pump like crazy.
While in mid-air, Spike eventually forced himself to stop spinning, and positioned himself so that he was upright in the air and looking down at Hiroki.
Spike: I have to admit!! You're good at copying someone people!! But you should know as well as anyone else that we Zoans have 3 forms at our disposal!! That was just my Beast Shift!! And previously, you saw my Man Shift!! So now...!!
Spike landed before he could finish his sentence, though he appeared to have already shifted back to his Man Shift form, as he gracefully (albeit painfully) landed on both of his feet. The landing caused a good amount of blood to gush from both sides of his waist, indicating where Hiroki's attack had gotten him. Spike winced only for a second or two before returning his attention back to Hiroki. Hiroki sported his typical manic smile once he saw Spike's blood. It reminded him of his hunts with the wolves years ago, and that made him feel hungry.
Hiroki: Damn it, don't make me wait, ya know! If you're gonna show me something, then show it already! I can feel my stomach growling!
Spike: Yeah yeah, I hear ya... Now then, as I was saying. This next form is what I call...
Spike then transformed once more, back into hybrid state. With his increased size (rivaling Kuma's,) he towered over Hiroki. The gash in his sides was much more apparent now, and his clothes were stained red from his blood.
Spike: Hybrid Shift.
Hiroki: How straightforward.
Spike: How I name my shifts is my business, not yours. Now if you don't mind...
Without having to finish the sentence, Hiroki nodded his head in agreement, and the fight resumed. Spike began charging head-first back at Hiroki, causing vibrations with each powerful step.
Spike: It seems you can fight a dinosaur, but can you fight a dinosaur-MAN?!!
Spike then lept up into the air above Hiroki, and did a front flip in the air. What resulted was Spike's sharp, pointed tail falling straight down at Hiroki's head.
Spike: HUGE WHIP!!
Hiroki, being fully aware of what Spike was trying to so, whipped his tail forward, causing the spikes to lock with Spike's tail's spikes, stopping Spike's attack.
Hiroki[smirking]: Even your attacks are straightforward.
Spike[frowning]: Shut up.
Back at Kenshin and Chris' fight, Chris was already busy thinking of what new tactic to try against Kenshin. Kenshin simply awaited Chris' next move, so as to counter it effectively.
Chris: Guess you've seen enough of my Devil Fruit to know how to take it down, huh?
Kenshin[smirking]: I'd say that's about right. Not like you're very creative with it.
As if his artistic soul was just challenged, Chris smirked in response.
Chris: You're gonna regret those words, demon-man.
Kenshin: Oh?
Chris: You see... I'm not just a captain, but i'm an entertainer too. Creativity runs in my blood. And since you've beaten my Devil Fruit at its first stage...
Kenshin: "First stage"?
Chris: IT'S TIME I UNVEIL ITS TRUE POTENTIAL!
Chris then crossed both his arms over his torso and started breathing deeply. With the stance performed, Chris set in motion one of his stronger techniques.
Kenshin: ...
As Chris breathed deeply, small clumps of bubbles began to form on his right upper arm. Kenshin was understandably surprised at what he saw.
Kenshin: What in the...?
The bubbles popped simultaneously, and in time, more bubbles formed elsewhere on Chris' body, but still in tight clumps. They too popped, and this process repeated itself until many bubble clumps were all over Chris' body.
Chris: Art Style...
Finally, all the bubbles bursted together, and with that, Chris swung his arms out wide in front of him with dramatic flare as many, many, MANY bubbles began forming and popping randomly all over Chris' head and body (except his face.) With a deadly serious look on his face, and coated by what looked like his boiling body, Chris announced the name of this technique.
Chris: POP!!
Kenshin:*smiles*Finally...I guess I will be having fun now.
- Chris' entire right arm gets covered in liquid clay
- He points it towards Kenshin then closes his eyes
Kenshin:*serious face*Huh?
- Chris suddenly moves his right hand forward a bit, and suddenly, Kenshin feels the force of a punch in his stomach
Kenshin:*coughing blood*[This speed and strenght...he made the clay solid...but it happened too fast...]
- All of a sudden, Chris appears in front of Kenshin with his palms open towards Kenshin
- Kenshin uses the power of his Devil Fruit and empowers his legs with energy, then with a single step, appears behind Chris
Kenshin:*smiles*Dont think that your speed is superior now.

- The Chris that was in front of Kenshin transforms in liquid clay

- From behind, Chris powerfully kicks Kenshin in his back, sending him flying high in the air
- Kenshin struggles to regain his balance and in a few seconds he does it, but he notices that Chris is already above him
Chris:*serious face*This fight makes no sense any more...
- Chris powerfully kicks Kenshin in the face, sending him flying into the ground
- The impact of Kenshin in the ground creates a big crater
- After a few moments, Kenshin gets up and holds his forehead that is badly bleeding while Chris calmly lands on the ground
Chris:*serious face*The tables...
Kenshin:*smiles*...have turned, didnt they?
Chris:*surprised*What?You still have the courage to smile?
Kenshin:*smiles*Of course I do...I finally find pleasure in fighting with you...
- Kenshin picks all his swords and makes a friction between them and a rock that was near him
- Suddenly, his swords get covered in white lightnings
Chris:*surprised*Huh?How...
Kenshin:*smiles*Well, my swords are not so simple...but excuse me, I dont feel like explaining now.
- Kenshin dashes towards Chris with huge speed
Chris:*serious face*Do you think now you will be able to match my...
- Kenshin suddenly throws one of his swords towards Chris
Kenshin:*serious face*Lightning Demon's Shadow!!
- The sword gets completely gets covered in white lightnings and starts moving at huge speed
- Chris prepares to block it, but he suddenly notices Kenshin behind him, ready to cut him
Kenshin:*serious face*Lightning Demon's Assasin!!
- Chris understands that he cant dodge both attacks, so he decides to jump high in the air
- Kenshin picks the sword that was originally flying towards Chris and then throws all his swords towards Chris
Kenshin:*serious face*Lightning Demon's Claws!!
- All the swords get covered in lightnings and move faster than usual
Chris:*serious face*Clay Clay Pop Stairs!!
- Chris quickly creates some stairs that reach the ground, then quickly jumps on them towards the ground
- Kenshin appears on top of the stairs and picks his swords, then jumps towards Chris, with had his back turned
Chris:*surprised*[This is bad!!]
Kenshin:*serious face*Lightning Demon's Stab!!
- Kenshin tries to stab Chris with all his swords at once, but Chris quickly catches Kenshin's hands and tries to stop his attack, but still gets stabbed with the top of the swords and gets electrocuted
- Chris tries to push Kenshin back, but since his strength is inferior to Kenshin's, he only gets stabbed deeper
- He then grabs Kenshin with more power and throws him away
- Chris lands on the ground pretty exhausted
Chris:*heavily panting*Wow...your attacks...really exhausted me...
- Kenshin also lands on the ground, a few seconds after Chris
Kenshin:*smiles*Well...that was pretty much their aim.
- Kenshin powerfully grabs all his swords and starts swinging them towards Chris, releasing thousands of lightning blades
Chris:*serious face*[Like this...I have no way to dodge them...I cant use my top speed.]
Kenshin:*smiles*Lighting Demon's Last Wish!!
- Chris quickly puts his hands on the ground and releases huge amounts of clay
Chris:*serious face*Clay Clay Pop Gate!!
- Chris creates a massive gate of solid clay that blocks all the lightning slashes
- He then notices that he is not able to see Kenshin any more cause of the gate
Chris:*worried*[SHIT!!]
- Chris suddenly notices Kenshin above him, high in the air
- Kenshin powerfully swings all his swords towards Chris, releasing 8 big lightning blades
Kenshin:*serious face*Lightning Demon's Eight Treasures!!
- On their way towards Chris, the lightning blades start to combine, forming a single, huge one
Kenshin:*smiles*Eight Treasures:One Shot!!
- Chris creates another gate of solid clay, but this time a bigger one, and also above him
- The lightning slash hits the clay gate directly, but isnt able to cut through it
- Kenshin lands on the ground, with a large smile on his face
Kenshin:*large smile*Not even a powerful slash like this can pass your defense...
Chris:*serious face*Can I know why that makes you smile?
Kenshin:*large smile*Because it seems I have to use more than this to defeat you...which really made me excited...I am going to use a new style for the first time, against you.
- Kenshin starts taking off his clothes
Chris:*sweatdrops*What are you...doing?
- Kenshin reveals a white costume that he has under his usual clothes
Chris:*serious face*Huh?What is with...*starry eyes*THIS AWESOME COSTUME?!?!
Kenshin:*smiles*Well this is not just for the show...
- Kenshin makes a friction between his swords that were covered in lightings and his suits, making the suit get covered in lightnings as well, creating a lightning armor around Kenshin's body
Chris:*surprised*What?
Kenshin:*grins*The ultimate lightning style learned from my master, Kabuto.
- The lightnings around Kenshin's body start destroying everything around him
Kenshin:*grins* Raika!!(Lightning Flash)
The scene changes to where Hiroki and Spike were fighting.
Hiroki and Spike and both badly injured.
- Spike dashes towards Hiroki, but Hiroki suddenly uses Soru and appears in front of him

- Hiroki's bone structure starts to change again, changing into the one of a gorilla this time
Hiroki:*maniac grin*Tekkai:Gorira Migi!!(Iron Mass:Gorilla Right)
- Hiroki punches Spike in his face with all his might, sending Spike flying through a lot of trees and rocks
- Spike finally stops flying after some meters, when he crashes into a giant stone
- He gets up with some effort and notices that he is right near Chris
Spike:*surprised*Eh?Was I sent flying so much?
Chris:*sweatdrops*Judging from you injuries...it seems you're not doing very well in your fight.
Spike:*pissed off face fault*SHUT UP!!
Kenshin:*demonic grin*I am glad that both of you are here...
- Hiroki jumps out of nowhere between Kenshin, Chris and Spike
Hiroki:*maniac laugh*Dont think you can run to your captain now!!
Spike:*serious smile*I was not planning to do that.
Kenshin:*shadowed eyes*You can stop fightning now...beast...
Hiroki:*serious face*What did you say?
- Kenshin suddenly appears near Hiroki and powerfully kicks him in the face, sending him flying a long distance
Kenshin:*smiles*I knew you wont listen if I told you in a nice way...so I had no choice...
Spike:*serious face*Why you did that to him?
Kenshin:*shadowed eyes*Come...
Chris:*serious face*What?
Kenshin:*grins*I WILL TAKE BOTH OF YOU AT ONCE!!
Chris/Spike:*shocked*WHAT??
After their initial shock, both Chris and Spike began to slowly process what this would mean.
Spike: So then, two of us-
Chris: -And one of him. Though after fighting him for a while, I can already tell he's going to give it his all against the both of us.
Spike[nodding]: Yeah...
Chris: Besides, he knows about our crew, and seems to know our reputation enough to want to challenge us both. So we can't really back down now, after being acknowledged by someone as strong as him.
Spike: You're starting to sound like... Well, me.
Chris: I'm just in the zone now.
Spike: Hehe... As am I.
Spike's excited grin crept up onto his face, showing that he was growing amused from this battle. Only now was his adrenaline finally starting to kick in. And with it, his heart beat quickened, and his senses began to become sharper. His eyes widened in ecstasy as he began to delight in the idea of battling two strong people in one day. Chris however, was now completely serious, and only had one thing on his mind. To finish what he started. He stared at Kenshin from a distance, showing no particular emotion at the moment.' Kenshin on the other hand, was growing tired of the bantering between the two, and wanted to fight. NOW.
Kenshin: So?!! Don't tell me you're scared all of a sudden!!
Chris: Who's scared?
Spike: We're just psyching ourselves up. So hold your horses, swordsman.
Before finally engaging in battle, Spike looked down at Chris, and noticed that he had already used his Art Style: Pop.
Spike: He's that strong, I guess?
Chris: Yep. How about you? Did you use the Revival Cubes yet?
Spike: Didn't have the chance to. Hell, couldn't even pull out my Plated Fists. The fight ended just as it was getting good.
Chris: I see. Well, maybe you'll get the chance against this guy.
Spike[smirking]: Looking forward to it.
Without any further hesitation, Spike returned to his Man Shift, and begun searching his pants' pockets for something.
Kenshin: ...?
Once Spike found what he was looking for, he pulled them out. They were two golden colored brass knuckles with a human skull decorated at the end of each of them; Spike's treasured Plated Fists. He put them on and bumped his fists together, creating a clanging noise as the weapons hit each other.
Spike: Now we fight.
With that, Spike dashed at an intense speed and thrusted his left fist at Kenshin. Kenshin simply motioned to block it with his sword. He smiled in amusement.
Kenshin: Using only your fists in a sword fight? Seems you don't care about your safety much.
Spike: Nah, i'm too busy living life to its fullest to worry about that.
Kenshin and Spike then began trading blows as each of them swiftly clashed blade with fist respectively. The sounds of clashing steel permeated the jungle as they both traded blows with one another.
Kenshin: So where's your captain?!
Chris: Right here!!
Chris could be seen flying down from above Kenshin's head with two solid angel wings attached to his back. As he flew, his legs and lower waist had completely transformed into a tail-like mass of wet clay.
Chris: Clay Clay Armory!!
Chris' left arm molded itself into a solid clay whip, with which he used to lash out at Kenshin. Occupied with Spike at the moment, the whip wrapped itself around Kenshin's waist. Chris then attempted to swing Kenshin away from Spike to set up a combination attack. However...
Kenshin: What do you think you're doing?
Just as Kenshin was lifted from his feet, the whip broke into small shards. Kenshin's Raika was still in effect, and the lightning armor around him was powerful enough to overwhelm Chris' clay. In complete shock, Chris paused after his technique failed.
Chris: Crap! I totally forgot about that lightning!
Spike[enraged]: HOW DO YOU FORGET SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!!
Not giving them any time to breathe, Kenshin started his attack, and tossed one of his swords at Spike. Cloaked in lightning, it seemed it was going to hit the young man's heart. But just before it made its target, Chris intervened.
Chris: HELL NO!
Another clay whip wrapped around Spike this time, and pulled him up into the air alongside Chris. Kenshin, realizing he missed, dashed forward and retrieved his sword in mid-air.
Kenshin: Not as easy as you thought it'd be, huh?!
Spike landed behind Kenshin soon afterward and got back into a fighting stance.
Spike: I'd say we're just getting started, but... Loads of people say that anyway, so you get the point. Besides, i'd worry about the rain that's about to come.
Kenshin[confused]: "Rain"?
Spike non-chalantly pointed up to the sky and smirked, as if he knew something Kenshin didn't. Kenshin looked to where Spike was pointing, and saw Chris still floating above him. But instead of his normal human arms, Chris was aiming two solid clay cannons down at Kenshin.
Chris: Clay Clay Firearm!!
Kenshin: Guns too? Seems you two don't fight a lot of swordsmen.
Chris then fired two solid clay cannonballs from his arms simultaneously, which Kenshin threw his lightning covered swords at. Needless to say, the swords carved their targets effortlessly.
Kenshin: Nice try, Jolly.
Spike: Don't get so confident yet!!
As Kenshin turned around to see Spike, he saw Spike in his Hybrid Shift, running straight at him with his back turned.
Spike: Meteor Impact!!!
With his right fist still covered by his brass knuckle, Spike threw a heavy punch at Kenshin. Before Kenshin could retaliate, he found himself flying backward a bit into the distance, with his lightning covered body skidding across the ground, causing large dust clouds to rise into the air, and for the ground itself to crack as Kenshin skidded. Eventually, he came to a stop, and proceeded to get up and dust himself off. Blood was trickling down the corner of his mouth, and so he wiped it away with his hand, to see hos injured he was. Spike on the other hand was clutching his right hand with his left one. He seemed to be suffering from some kind of paralysis.
Spike: Gah!! Damn electric armor...! How are we supposed to land a solid hit without getting hurt ourselves?
Chris: There's gotta be a way. Just takes some creativity is all.
Kenshin[thinking]: So he finally landed a hit on me, huh? Should watch out for that attack, and not let his captain distract me.
Kenshin renewed his resolve and stared down Chris and Spike.
Kenshin: I won't make the same mistake twice! Now that I know how the two of you fight together, that'll give me just yet another advantage against the both of you!
Chris[gritting his teeth]: Is he always this confident in himself?
Spike: He's Sasagawa Kenshin, a powerful swordsman. So much so, that the government gave him a bounty greater than either of ours. I say he has a right to be confident.
Chris: Point taken. So, any new plans?
Spike: Nope. Gonna wing it?
Chris: Yep.
Spike: Typical. Let's go then.
- Chris dashes towards Kenshin while Spike remains behind, preparing something else
- Around Chris' arms, 2 circles of liquid clay appear
- Kenshin prepares to intercept Chris' attack, who was very close to him, but suddenly, Chris appears right in front of Kenshin
Chris:*serious face*Forgot about my speed?
Kenshin:*smiles*Nah...
- Chris tries to punch Kenshin, but gets blocked and due to Kenshin's electricity field, he gets electrocuted
Chris:*serious face*Clay Clay Pop Wave!!
- The circle around Chris' right arm explodes, releasing a huge wave of liquid clay that becomes solid after it touches something
- In front of Chris, everything is covered in clay, but he notices that Kenshin was fast enough to escape
- After a second, Kenshin appears behind Chris and tries to slash him
- Chirs quickly turns around and points his left arm at Kenshin's face, then tries to release the second wave, but his left arm gets grabbed by Kenshin
Chris:*serious face*Haki again?
Kenshin:*smiles*Pretty much.
- Kenshin grabs 3 of his swords with his right hand, placing them between his fingers
Kenshin:*smiles*Lightning Demon's Dragon Claws!!
- The 3 swords get completely covered in lightnings, resembling the claws of a dragon
- Kenshin tries to stab Chris, who was unable to move at all, in the stomach, but Spike suddenly appears above him
Spike:*serious face*Spike Shift!!
- Spike's entire body gets covered in spikes as he tries to punch Kenshin
- Kenshin realizes he cant affort to take so much damage, and decides to let Chris go and jump back
Chris:*serious face*Thanks for that.
Spike:*serious face*No need to thank me...it seems we cant take this guy like this...thats the main reason why I decided to use a Revival Cube.
Chris:*serious face*Yeah...
Spike:*smiles*Do you think...I should show this guy...the Monster Shift?
Chris:*dead serious face*Dont be an idiot...you wont need something like that.
- Without losing a single moment, Kenshin dashes towards Chris and Spike
Spike:*smiles*Here we go!!
- Spike dashes towards Kenshin as well and prepares to punch him with full force
- Chris tries to follow Spike, but he realizes he used Art Style: Pop too much already and his body starts to act weird
Chris:*serious face*[This isnt the right moment for this...]
- Spike tries to punch Kenshin, but Kenshin understands the force of Spike's punch, so he decides to jump high in the air to dodge the attack
Kenshin:*smiles*I guess I cant just play around with them any more...lets see what this Raika can do...
- Kenshin starts spinning in the air, creating a sphere of lightnings around his body
- Then, he closes his eyes and starts concentrating
Kenshin:*closed eyes*[Kabuto said that I am the only one that can use this style...the style that even he failed to control...the style the master of lightning couldnt control...]
- From the ground Spike is waiting for Kenshin's technique
Spike:*smiles*This is really exciting...I can already feel its power...I really wonder what it is.
Chris:*desperate face*WHAT ARE YOU DOING??DONT JUST WAIT FOR HIM TO ATTACK, COUNTER HIS TECHNIQUE!!
Spike:*smiles*Nah...I prefer to wait and see what he can really do.
- After a few more seconds, Kenshin stops spinning and all the lightnings concentrate on his swords, making them bigger than usual
Kenshin:*serious smile* White Demon:Ultimate Lightning!!
- Kenshin swings all his swords towards Spike at once, releasing an enormous air blade
- The lightnings from his swords surround the slash, making it look like a huge lightning
- Spike takes a defensive stance and prepares to block
Spike:*smiles*Armor Shift!!
- Spike's entire body gets covered with strong plates
Chris:*dead serious face*I am not going to let this happen...Clay Clay Pop Gate!!
- Chris releases huge amounts of clay, creating a gate above Spike
Chris:*dead serious face*[This blocked all of Kenshin's attacks earlier...I am sure this time, it will be able to block it again, even if not totally.]
- The lightning slash hits the gate, and cuts it in half like it was nothing
Chris:*shocked*Wh...what?
Spike:*shocked*Im...
- Before he could finish his sentence, the lightning slash crashes directly into Spike, creating a huge explosion that sends even Chris flying back
- Chris powerfully steps on the ground and stops, only getting his right shoulder injured by the explosion
Chris:*shocked*This is crazy...
- Kenshin calmly lands on the ground, near a cloud of dust, where Spike is
Chris:*desperate voice*SPIKEEEEEE!!
- After a few seconds, Spike gets out of the cloud of dust with a huge cut on his body, from his right shoulder to his left leg, and with his entire body badly injured
Spike:*smiles*Not bad...not bad at all...
Kenshin:*annoyed*Tch...that technique totally failed!
Chris:*shocked*Fa...failed?IT ALMOST KILLED SPIKE!!
Kenshin:*annoyed*Yeah...but it was supposed to do the same with you.
- Chirs' attitude suddenly changes after he realizes the situation he is in
Chris:*dead serious face*Spike...you're free to use the Monster Shift...we have to win this fight.
Spike:*smiles*Understood.
- Kenshin's entire body gets covered in lightnings once again
Kenshin:*smiles*I will use another technique that is meant to hit a single person...but I will try to make it both of you this time.
- Spike snaps after hearing what Kenshin just said, and tries to attack him, but Kenshin jumps at a big distance from Spike in order to prepare his next attack
- After a few seconds of concentration, Kenshin dashes towards Spike, while the lightnings around his body start to act weird
- Spike doesnt prepare a defensive stance this time, but prepares to counter Kenshin's attack
- Kenshin empowers his legs with his Devil Fruit and jumps towards Spike with all force he could
- The lightnings around his body form the image of a huge person, that prepares to punch Spike
Spike:*surprised*What is this?
- Spike tries to react, but he is unable to do anything and the lightning person punches Spike, but without any effect
Spike:*surprised*[No damage?]
- Kenshin appears behind Spike and dashes towards Chris
- Chris tries to get way from Kenshin's way, but since he used Art Style: Pop he isnt able to move at all
- The lightnings around Kenshin's body form a different image this time, of another huge person
- The same thing that happened to Spike happens to Chris as well, the lightning person punches Chris, but with absolutely no effect
- In a few seconds, Chris and Spike notice Kenshin, who was far away from them and was sheating his swords with his back turned at the two
Kenshin:*shadowed eyes*How ironic for a Demon to use this...

(The Japanese God of Thunder and Lightning)
- The sound of a thunder can be heard out of nowhere
Chris:*shocked*What is...going to happen?
Spike:*pissed off*THIS GUY IS PLAYING WITH US!!
- Suddenly, Chris and Spike get caugth in 2 huge spheres of lightning where everything gets get thousand of times, even them
- Chris and Spike can be heard screaming in pain from inside the spheres
Kenshin:*serious face*This is one of the strongest lightning techniques...be happy that I used it at half power on each one of you.
As the spheres began to dissipate, only a burnt crater was left underneath both Chris and Spike. Their skin was smoking due to the intense heat given off by the lightning, and both of them were standing like statues, as if they were too paralyzed to move. Even Spike's thick plates looked burnt from the excessive damage. Chris in particular had his back bent backwards, as if he was looking straight up at heaven itself. Their eyes were shadowed, making it hard to see their reactions. Only zombie-like poses could be seen. Kenshin looked at them for a bit before turning around and walking away.
Kenshin: How dissapointing. Even at only half of Raijin's power, it was too much for either of you to handle. Oh well... Guess that's all either of you can do.
As he walked further away, Chris' body began to shake while he stood in place. He wasn't quite dead, but he was seriously injured. With his left eye, he watched Kenshin as he headed off. A slight groan resonated in Chris' throat as he growled to signify his irritation. Weakly, he tried something he hadn't used in the fight till now. Before Kenshin was completely out of view, he could feel a strong sensation pushing him from behind. This sensation... Surely during Kenshin's long career as a swordsman, he came to understand what this feeling was. He stopped in his tracks as he fought back this odd feeling and turned around to look at Chris, where he felt the sensation coming from.
Kenshin: So, it seems I was wrong. [smiles] Good, this would be too boring if it ended so soon.
With a violent rush of Haoushoku Haki pouring out of his body, Chris fought to regain a more erect stance. Once he finally was standing back on his own two feet, he slowly turned his head towards Kenshin, revealing his glaring stare and clenched teeth.
Chris: Are you underestimating us again? That's the stupidest thing you've done yet, Kenshin.
Even with a burnt body, and multiple injuries, and even with the exhaustion of using his Devil Fruit, Chris managed to force Busoshoku Haki onto both of his forearms; transforming his clay hands and wrists into a much sturdier, white porcelain. A material that would be more resistant to heat and electric attacks, and with Haki covering it, it would prove to be more useful than anything Chris had used thus far. Without waiting for Spike, Chris pushed as much strength as he could summon into his legs, and launched himself at Kenshin once more. Kenshin grinned and got intoa defensive stance as he anticipated Chris' assault.
Kenshin: That's more like it.
Chris: HRAAAH!!!
With a thunderous war cry, Chris began throwing punch after punch at Kenshin, who simply met the strikes with the slashes from his swords. It was porcelain and steel, clashing against each other relentlessly. Both Chris and Kenshin were walking forward and backward at varying intervals during the clash, showing that each side was trying their best to push each other back without losing their own footing. Their movements were so quick, that each individual hit could only be seen as a slight blur. Only the sounds of swords striking fists could be heard. Once the two were satisfied, they paused for a while; with only Chris' two knuckles resting on the sharp edges of Kenshin's electically charged swords. They both began to pant a little after moving at such intense bursts of speed.
Kenshin: So you're a D. after all. No wonder why you have so much willpower.
Chris: I take it this isn't the first time you've seen Haoushoku Haki?
Kenshin: I've fought countless strong opponents. Some of them with Haki, and some of them without it. Only a rare few ever showed the ability to use Haoushoku Haki though. Seems you're one of them.
Chris: Just wish it was stronger though. But even without it at full power, I know I can beat you.
Kenshin: We'll see about that.
The two pushed each other backward, creating some distance between them. Once they did, Chris noticed his right arm was beginning to feel cooler after moving at such swift speeds. After only glancing at it once, he returned his attention back to Kenshin, and aimed his right fist at the man.
Kenshin: What are you doing now?
Chris: Being creative.
Chris held his right arm with left hand, and soon after, liquid clay began to spurt violently underneath his porcelain wrist; looking as though it were a rocket about to take flight. Kenshin got into a stance that would allow him to counter-attack if necessary, and watched the technique closely. He knew keeping his eyes off any slight detail concerning Chris would be a fatal mistake.
Chris: Busoshoku. Clay Clay...
Finally, the porcelain hand and wrist flew off of Chris' arm, and thanks to his left hand holding his right arm, Chris was able to keep himself from being pushed back by the force of his own technique. Attached only to a refined, thin trail of liquid clay, the hand rocketed its way towards Kenshin.
Chris: HOMING MISSILE!
Kenshin: Heh!
With a slight chuckle, Kenshin ran straight at the homing missile attack, and held 3 of his swords between his fingers. Still coursing with lightning, Kenshin swiped his swords at Chris' Haki-covered fist.
Kenshin: LIGHTNING DEMON'S DRAGON CLAWS!!!
Just before Kenshin could land his attack, the fist appeared to change direction in mid-air.
Kenshin: What?!!
The fist swerved to Kenshin's left and circled around behind him.
Chris[proudly]: I told you it was a homing missile!!
Using the clay trail attached to both his porcelain fist and the rest of his arm, Chris was able to navigate his fist to wherever he wanted it to go. Grinning, he launched it straight at Kenshin's back. However, Kenshin was already catching on to Chris' gimmick, and used his Raika covered foot to kick the fist away. The fist flew backward and smashed into the ground with a large explosion. The clay trail recessed back into Chris' arm, and he then recreated a new, normal hand and fist in its place.' Frowning, Chris complained about his attack's failure.
Chris: You've gotta be kidding me!
Kenshin: Sorry, i'm not. Seems that even when you're being serious, you still play around like a kid.
Chris: ...
Kenshin: Are you gonna keep going or what?
Chris: What do you think?
Kenshin[smiling]: Good, just what I wanted to hear from someone like you.
Chris: Clay Clay Armory!!
Chris transformed both his forearms into solid clay katana, and coated them in Haki.
Chris: Busoshoku!
The clay katana then became white porcelain, like what happened to Chris' fist earlier.
Kenshin: A swordfight, huh? Now i'm excited. [smirks]
Both Kenshin and Chris went back to clashing strike against strike like they had been before. This time though, it was sword versus sword; and unlike Chris' earlier clay swords, his porcelain swords were proving to be a better match against Kenshin's Raika empowered blades. In between the clash, Kenshin managed to parry both of Chris' arms to the side, and went in to stab Chris with four of his own swords. As Chris' eyes widened in shock, an incoming projectile caught Kenshin's eye. He stopped his attack so as to deflect what was a large air slash in the shape of a flying pteranadon. Behind Chris, a familiar voice called out.
Spike[Hybrid Shift]: Kentro Kick: Pterasaur!!
Chris: Spike!
Spike: Did you forget about me, Kenshin? Either way, I hope you had fun messing around with my captain here, since that's all the fun you'll be having for now.
Kenshin: Oh, I don't know. Something tells me you'll be quite the challenge as well.
Spike: Damn straight i'll be.
And with that, both Chris and Spike were back in the fight; although their injuries were starting to impair their ability to fight somewhat. In spite of this, they fought through the pain and thought only of victory. Besides, they had a crew to return to. They knew they had to return in one piece, no matter what.
