This Mythical Zoan type devils fruit grants the user the ability to obtain three forms: 1. their normal form. 2. A hybrid from of themselves and the Grim Reaper. and 3. Full Grim Reaper form.

Abilities

The Grim Reaper hosts a unique ability that is widely misunderstood, the Grim Reaper does NOT kill "his" targets. Instead "he" is in charge of severing the soul from the body at the moment of death. Due to this the user gains the inate ability of Soul Severing. Another ability gained from the hybrid and full Grim Reaper form is seeing the life spans of all living things, this is seen as a blessing and a curse.

Soul Severing: 

The ability to focus the energy of the Grim Reaper along whatever weapon they weild to deal damage directly to the soul of their target instead of the targets body, this is designed to break the ties and force the soul from the body (the attacks appear to pass right through the target). The amount of hits or strength of hits it takes to force a soul out depends on the targets will. After the soul is forced from the body the user has a short time to take hold of it, if this is acheived then the user can hold that soul within their body for up to a week or in their hourglass (situated on their hip in partial and full forms) for an indefinate period. After a week the soul will be freed from the users body, however if the soul is stored inside the users Hourglass then the user must reverse their transformation completely, be knocked out, or come into contact with the sea or seastone in order for the soul to be released against the users will. Once released the soul can freely travel, though it is unable to be seen by anyone but the user, and must find its way back to its body before the body rots away.

Life Spans:

This is seen as a simple number above the creatures head, this number is not in any way absolute since it could change based on any decision. (Ex. if the person is going to die via drowning but decides to not go to sea that day their life span would lengthen.) When using this ability the users eyes glow red.

Trivia

• Souls appear as small balls of light, their color seems to be random though it is speculated that the color shows if the person is "good" or not.
• This fruit was thought up on accident while reading up on Gekko Moriahs fruit.
